Extensions to and re-modelling of a detached cottage to create a sustainable family home located within a large plot in the Worcestershire countryside. Design centred around two aspects, firstly the raising of internal floor levels within the cottage to alleviate flash flooding concerns from adjacent road heights and secondly, creating sufficient accommodation for the property with extensions to function as a family home whilst maintaining subservient massing and connections back to the host property.
