Extensions, refurbishment and remodeling of an existing 1960's bungalow into a thermally efficient and sustainable family home. The project will comprise of opening up part of the existing roof space to create an open volume to the main re-located living spaces partly also housed in one of the extensions and located to take into consideration the south west aspect and views out over the countryside. The selection of contemporary materials of a coated steel metal roof and part exterior cladding will respond to the rural location of the site.
