Red Marley

Sensitive additions to an original Chartist bungalow dating from the Chartist movement, built within the mid 18th century and located within a conservation area in rural Gloucestershire. The contemporary nature of the design evolved through discussions with the local planning authorities conservation officer as an approach which removed some incongruous additions to the original bungalow carried out in the 1970's and replaced with a holistic extension with subservient connections at eaves and ridge levels and clad in traditional slate tiling to both roof and external walls.
