The proposals bring the house up to date with open plan family living spaces whilst integrating a former single storey garage building located in the rear garden as annex accommodation. External materials chosen for low maintenance comprise of thin coat silicon render system and smooth faced composite cladding with powder coated aluminium windows, external doors and roof windows break down the massing and provide a contemporary aesthetic.
